# Create a merchant account

POST https://ssuccessv2.com/app/api/v1/school/settings/merchant/account/create
Content-Type: application/json

Creates a live merchant account and registers its payment webhook.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — The signed-in SchoolSet user token sent by the frontend.

## Request

This endpoint expects an object.

- `type_id` (integer, required)
- `name` (string, required)
- `connection_data` (string, required) — JSON-encoded driver connection data.
- `charge_processing_fees` (boolean, optional, nullable)
- `fee_display_option` (string, optional, nullable)
- `optional_fee_coverage` (string, optional, nullable)
- `credit_card_enabled` (boolean, optional, nullable)
- `ach_enabled` (boolean, optional, nullable)
