# Merge fundraising donors

POST https://ssuccessv2.com/app/api/v2/fundraising/donor/merge
Content-Type: application/json

Merges source donors into the selected target, applies field selections, moves related records, and returns the refreshed target donor.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — The signed-in SchoolSet user token sent by the frontend.

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects an object.

- `donor_ids` (list of integer, required)
- `merge_to` (integer, required)
- `field_sources` (map from string to integer, optional)

## Response

### 200

Source donors were merged and the refreshed target donor resource was returned.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Authentication is required to merge fundraising donors.

The user lacks permission to edit donors in the active school.
