# Change deposit batch status

POST https://ssuccessv2.com/app/api/v2/payment/deposit-batches/{id}/status
Content-Type: application/json

Changes a deposit batch between its open and deposited states after applying the service locking and accounting rules.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — The signed-in SchoolSet user token sent by the frontend.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `id` (integer, required) — Deposit batch identifier.

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects an object.

- `status` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `open`, `deposited`

## Response

### 200

The status changed and the updated batch resource was returned.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Authentication is required to change batch status.

The user lacks accounting edit permission in the active school.
